About this macbook pro
The 2015 MacBook Pro 13-inch Retina brings professional performance to a compact aluminium chassis. Built around Intel's fifth-generation Core processors and a brilliant 13.3-inch Retina display, this refurbished MacBook Pro handles creative work, multitasking and everyday computing with confidence. Every unit has been tested and graded, ready for immediate use with macOS and a full year's warranty from Buyer Area.
At its heart sits either an Intel Core i5-5257U or Core i7-5557U processor, paired with 16GB of unified memory and a fast 256GB solid-state drive. Intel Iris Graphics 6100 drives the 13.3-inch Retina display, delivering sharp text and vivid colour for design software, photo editing and web work. The unibody aluminium enclosure remains one of Apple's most durable designs, with a full-sized keyboard, Force Touch trackpad and a connectivity array that includes Thunderbolt 2, USB 3.0, HDMI and an SDXC card slot. This generation suits professionals who need a proven Mac notebook without the cost of the latest release.
Processor and memory configurations
Two processor options are available: the Intel Core i5-5257U for balanced everyday performance, or the Intel Core i7-5557U for more demanding workflows such as video encoding, batch processing and virtual machines. Both configurations ship with 16GB of RAM, enough for multiple browser tabs, creative applications and background utilities to run without slowdown. The 256GB SSD ensures fast boot times and application launches, with read and write speeds that outpace the traditional hard drives found in older machines.
Display, graphics and connectivity
The 13.3-inch Retina display remains a highlight, offering higher pixel density than standard HD panels and wide colour reproduction for design and media work. Intel Iris Graphics 6100 supports dual external displays via Thunderbolt 2 and HDMI, making this MacBook Pro equally at home on a desk with a large monitor or in a meeting room with a projector. Two Thunderbolt 2 ports enable daisy-chaining of storage devices and displays, while the SDXC card slot provides a direct route for photographers to import images from cameras. Two USB 3.0 ports accommodate mice, external drives and other peripherals, and the 3.5 mm headphone jack supports high-impedance headphones for audio professionals.
