The 14-inch screen strikes a practical balance between workspace and portability, and Windows 11 keeps you current with the latest Microsoft features and security updates. Performance for Everyday Business Use
The Intel Core i5-8365U at the heart of this refurbished HP EliteBook 840 G6 is a quad-core processor from Intel's eighth-generation Whiskey Lake family, designed to balance performance with power efficiency. Combined with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, the laptop handles web browsing, document editing, email, video conferencing and multi-tab workflows without slowdown. The solid-state drive delivers noticeably faster read and write speeds than traditional hard drives, so Windows 11 boots in seconds and applications open almost instantly. For professionals who spend their day in Microsoft Office, web applications or cloud platforms, this configuration offers the responsiveness and reliability expected from HP's business line.
Display and Connectivity
The 14-inch display provides a comfortable working canvas for spreadsheets, presentations and browser windows, while keeping the overall footprint compact enough for a briefcase or backpack. Windows 11 brings an updated interface, improved virtual desktops and enhanced integration with Microsoft 365 cloud services, making it straightforward to collaborate across devices. The UK English keyboard layout ensures the correct symbols and key positions for British users, an important detail often overlooked on imported machines. Connectivity options on the EliteBook 840 G6 support modern office environments, though specific port details depend on the individual unit configuration.
