Grade A: This is our best cosmetic grade — the screen is scratch-free, and any marks on the lid or casing are light micro-scratches you would not notice at arm's length. The keyboard and trackpad show no visible wear.
Grade B: The screen is scratch-free. The lid or base has light scratches or scuffs — visible if you look closely, not something that jumps out. You might notice a little shine on the keys from everyday use.
Grade C: There are a few faint scratches on the screen, only visible when it's switched on. The casing shows visible scratches, scuffs or small dents, and there's noticeable wear on the keyboard and trackpad — this one has clearly been used, but works like new.

Frequently asked questions
Will this MacBook Pro run the latest macOS?
The Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch 2020 (Intel) supports macOS Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura. macOS Sonoma support depends on the specific chip variant and macOS release schedule. Check Apple's official compatibility list for your target OS version before purchase.
Why choose Intel over Apple Silicon in 2026?
Intel MacBook Pros remain excellent for professional workflows, especially coding and software development where Intel compatibility still matters. They're also ideal as a second machine or for users already invested in Intel-based tools. The 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD on this unit make it a solid, future-proofed choice.
What exactly is Grade A?
Grade A is excellent, with very light signs of use. Grade B is good, with light signs of use such as fine scratches. Grade C is fair, with clear signs of use. Every grade is fully tested and working.
Is the UK keyboard layout really important?
If you're UK-based, yes. The UK layout includes the pound symbol, different key placement (e.g. Enter key, @ and " symbols) and Alt Gr functions. Refurbished MacBook Pro units with UK keyboards are uncommon, making this unit a real find for UK buyers.
